Every e-mail message should have small descriptive text and a link to the appropriate forge page in it.
For plain text this could be something like:
---------------------------------------------------- Sent from sourceforge.net because you indicated interest in: http://link_to_item To unsubscribe from further messages, please visit: http://link_to_forge (login page, redirect to user profile)
The unsubscribe link is a legal requirement I think, and the link to the item is just good form. ;)
