While learning how to work with the bug tracking system, the following fields (from the previous Sourceforge system) serve an important purpose and are not present currently.
So please add the ability to display the following fields in the bug tracker:
- the column "reported_by_s",
- a field/column "reported_date_dt" and
- a field/column "mod_date_dt.

I'm a committer on a SourceForge project and I don't understand why the submitter and open date are not shown. They seem pretty important to me. So I just voted plus on this.
The modification date doesn't seem so important. If you are subscribed to the tracker, you'll get an e-mail each time a change is made.

Yeah. We definitely need a "reported_by" column in the summary table.
Custom fields have a "Show in search" checkbox on the Admin "Field Management" page, but we need to have a similar option for all the default fields.
Created #234: [#4790] Allow additional fields to be shown on bug tracker (2cp)

#4790[#5447] requests being able to remove default fields from the display, which I think should be taken care of by this ticket also.

Merged to master, plus a few UI improvements that you can see at https://git-wip-us.apache.org/repos/asf?p=incubator-allura.git;a=shortlog;h=refs/heads/db/4790
This most likely won't get pushed live to sourceforge.net until January
Actually, we've pushed this live now.
