When I up-vote some Tickets artifact, I'm usually interested in its progress and also want to subscribe to it. I think if you up-vote an artifact, subscription should be automatically done. If someone really wants to up-vote and forget about the issue, she can still manually unsubscribe from the artifact, but I think this would happen rather seldom.
I'd not automatically un-subscribe if the up-vote is redrawn or a down-vote is issued. Except if the artifact remembers whether it was a manual or automatic subscription. If the artifact remembers that the subscription was done automatically because of the up-vote, unsubscribing automatically on down-vote or redrawal of the up-vote would be ok I think. But a manually done subscriptions should prolongue, no matter what votes are done.
