It would help to make sure the correct images were selected before posting.

Majority of (high volume) sites I visit, display attachments in Preview mode, so user knows the right file(s) are attached, in correct order.
They also allow deleting / replacing those attachments (and editing text) of the INITIAL post - at least w/in a certain time.
