I've had several help requests from users who are confused by the default paths for SVN. They see the URLs on the code page, but because "/trunk" is appended to the end, they get a "doesn't exist" error. Eg.: https://sourceforge.net/apps/trac/sourceforge/ticket/20867

I think something needs to be done about this, some ideas to consider:

  1. pre-populate the SVN repos with the trunk/tags/branch repository layout.
  2. drop the "/trunk" from the URLs (and optionally, make that path customizable)
  3. write up some Allura specific SVN docs (the current docs are classic forge specific), and link to them from the SVN code pages.

Thoughts?
