#382 tracker: first saved search is default for tickets front page

As a sf project admin, I would like for the first search to be by default be "all open" and have the search string "!status: closed". I would like this "default search" to determine what I see on the tickets "front page" when I list tickets. If this search gets deleted, I see an "empty search" ie all tickets.
This was done a while ago, though slightly different. The landing page always searches for open tickets. This default search is not deleteable.
