#4013 Forum posting delay when posting via email [25060]

This is the second time I'm seeing htis problem.
When a user posts a message on the discussion forum, the moderators get an email about it and can reply to it via email but the message does not get posted on the discussion forum.
The reply via email however does get posted on the forum. What's going on here?
Here's an example of it, as your can see the reply via email is posted on the forum but hte original message is not showing up.

It seems the post did eventually get posted on the site here, so perhaps we need to investigate posting delays?
I remember seeing similar issues when troubleshooting another ticket.

I filed that one. My issue looks very similar. In my case, responses via email were delayed but eventually posted (on the order of 10 minutes later).
Posts via email get emailed to people following the forum, but as of ~20 hours later still aren't visible via the web UI.
