    Personally, I think all "creators" should be able to edit their own content by default.. The fact that it is not the case now is a bug, which is addressed by this ticket, which looks more like a feature request to me.

    If it is simpler than adding another permissions group for this one use-case, then why not just call it a bug rather than a feature request for a new permissions class and make it possible for users to edit their own content. Under what use-case is that not desirable?
