More advanced multivalued user preferences like socialnetworks, telnumbers, webpages, availability, etc should use a PreferencesProvider api, so that such a provider can hook into the getting & setting of those fields.
For QA, ensure adding & removing all types of Contacts and Availability options works as expected. Found in subpages of "User Info" tab, and shown on user profile page.
