Hi,

I have reported this in the past, but it is still unsolved. This problem == once again == massively killed my productivty!

When entering a message into the issue tracker while my webbrowser says I am logged in (whoever is to blame here, I don't care!!)
and I press "update" to send the message, the login page comes up requesting name and password!! And guess what, all my text is gone, because a new page is loaded!

Please! Do something about it! Show a popup with a warning, that the content will be lost; don't open a new page, but request login from the same page.... whatever!

It is simply not acceptable that I have to remember to press "ctrl + C" on my text each time I enter messages on sourceforge because they may become lost!! This happened too many times already!
And please don't blame it on the browser buffering the site status! I really want a solution, it doesn't matter who messed this up!

Windows 7, Opera 11.50

I can't seem to find the last time this was reported, but I can see this being very frustrating for users to lose long posts that they work on.

Ideally, we'd come up with a solution for sfx as well, but we should at least build in some sort of protection in allura for recovering lost posts if somehow their login session ends while they're in the middle of composing a ticket/forum post/etc.

Greatly increasing the antispam timeout (currently 1 hour, set in utils.py validate_request) will help.

Beyond that, still should recover text when something goes wrong (timeout still exceeded, user got logged out, or logged out and then back in with new session).
